since people are still going on about popularity thing and doing their best to ignore me

let me say it again:

you nor anyone else are entitled to popularity or praise.

and when you complain about not having these things, you are accusing people of not giving you what you deserve.

now, voicing insecurities about your work because you do not receive much positive feedback is one thing, but comparing yourself to others in a manner than implies you should receive similar treatment demeans the work and accomplishment of other people

and so
